Snow Day!
Today felt like a week of joy wrapped into one day- for it was a snow day! Waken up at 9AM by the excitement of the house, I was quickly rushed into breakfast and onto the streets with an array of make-shift sleds. Prepared for the cold, only to find the warmth of the general public around me, deep in such joy. There wasn't a single unhappy soul on Bole Hill that day, and the sled rides only became more steep and extreme. I had not been filled with this much joy since... before corona, I guess! I witnessed 5 year olds in small sleds, 70 year olds out in the cold together on sleds, and dogs excited to experience snow all over again- but I wish they had sleds, too. What a wonderful way for the British public to simply be with their own inner-child and enjoy the simplicities of life, out of the view from the leering news we suffer to read each day at the moment!
Shortly after this, the boys decided to take a dip and swim in Crookes Valley Park, I'm not sure how they did that!
